May 6 - MS Support Group meets with Lori at the Riverview Lion's Club in Moncton
Lori has had a great first week! She is already appearing in newspaper articles and on the radio. An MS Support Group invited her to their meeting at the Riverview Lion's Club and of the 40 attending, there wasn't a dry eye in the house (including hers). She said it was very inspiring and several people were particularly moved by her. |

May 16 & 17 - Grand Falls - Lori with Red (Armand), Julie, and at 500 km!
I (webmaster) received an e-mail from Armand Lebel and Julie Gendron from Grand Falls, New Brunswick. He writes, "I have met Lori in person last night, on the 16 of May, 2003. Me and my girlfriend Julie Gendron have given her 20 dollars donation and where my girlfriend works at Antlantic SuperStore, their staff fund has given her 200 dollars of donation. She took off from Grand Falls around 2:30pm this afternoon May 17 2003." Thanks, Armand and Julie for the update. Chris and Lori have called me on the phone and they said the Superstore invited them in for coffee! Thanks for the hospitality and the donations! Lori is tired and "finding her stride", but all of you can give her great encouragement! Today she has reached the 500 km mark and together with Chris lit sparklers to celebrate! |
