October 4 - Winnepeg! Lori spends some much needed time with her family. Not only was her mom able to fly in to see her, but members of the Wikdahl family (Lori's ex husband's family) came too! All of this has made Lori homesick (and Chris too)! Lori had the special surprise and honor of meeting with Mr. Cohen, founder of the Saan Stores! The local Saan Store also treated Lori and Chris to a hockey game!
October 10 - Lori was a guest on the popular TV morning show, The Big Breakfast on A-Channel Winnipeg. As well, she did a few interviews on local radio stations. Lori was also the special guest speaker at the closing ceremonies of SAAN's United Way at Work campaign. Norm Velnes, Executive Director of the MS Society of Manitoba introduced Lori.
