February 8 - 6430 kms - the Finish Line!

Friends, family, and supporters met with Lori at the Saans Store at Kingsgate Mall on East Broadway in Vancouver to walk the last 5.75 kms with her.  Complete with police escorts and media, we all struggled to keep up with Lori as she trucked down Broadway, across the Cambie Bridge, and along the Seawall to English Bay at Stanley Park.  I am not sure if the wings on her feet were from being in such better shape than the rest of us, or if it was purely from the excitement of finally reaching her goal after so much hard work... probably a bit of both!  After pouring Atlantic water into the Pacific Ocean to complete the Quest, Lori spent some time visiting and answering questions and just celebrating her special day!  That evening was topped off by a Community Celebration at the Best Western Mission City Lodge in Mission.
